iPod Speaker LM386 Amplifier
I’ve finally got around to take a picture of my modular. It’s still not filled up yet, but so far so nice and noisy.

It’s great to have control the 40106 chip with a joystick. Somewhere I found a joystick control from game controllers lying around in boxes and of course, a soap box.
Spuk

I think Spuk is a better name. At some settings it seems to spit out noises! Great! 4 Oscs Distortion Voltage starve

Version 2 of CigarNObO #23

This is NObO on a breadboard for testing and designing the sounds I want.
There were some differences in sounds between breadboarding and on the pcb. The touch points became a little more predictable. But looking at the copper connections touching each other (bottom right) there must be some strange capacitance happening there. So to add more unpredictability modded is version 2.

I’ve also starting to build up my own modular with pcbs either bought or order and (in near future) to etching my own boards. (This is going to be fun!) I’m going to build a 4U system and (still deciding) going to banana plugs.
So we starting with, Thomas Henry XR 2206 VCO

The XR VCO is from Thomas Henry, with good help and documentation from birthofasynth.com and Bugbrand.
The functions are
It’s going to be sweet. I’m going make 8 Vcos! A huge jump from my current eurorack system.
Base on the minimal components used for the Op-amp LM386, I’ve build a octo amp running 9volts. Using the batteries might not be a very good idea, but this is the first off. All channels are functioning and it would be nice to test on a fresh battery to see how long it last outdoors!

Finally finish up the 16 channel SD card player! Super Teil! ;-) And it’s portable!
soon a pair would be found!

This is my first (well, not exactly) sound generating (kKlang, let’s say) box based on CMOS chips. It consists of;
The buttons are so build that they fit my ergonomics of my hands. All electronics packed into a cigarbox.

I’m using the Zoom H2n as my recorder and recording line levels is horrible. Turning the rec level to 0 doesn’t have any attenuation to the input level from the mixer. Hence Cut is born to lower the recording levels. Simple to build, just 1 pot <stereo> but a pain to hook up the cables.

x2 8 Step Sequencer build for the eurorack system.
It’s still raw just simple and straight.
